Researches and prepares staff recommendations to City Council and boards on zoning, land use, annexation, special exception and variance cases. Reviews site plans and traffic studies for compliance with land development regulations (LDRs). Researches and prepares amendments to LDRs. Reviews and approves building and sign permits. Interacts with public.
Requires Masters degree in Urban Planning, Public Administration or Geography and a minimum of 6 months of experience or equivalent combination of training, education and experience. Requires strong writing and presentation skills.
