Economic Development Coordinator - $4,914- $6,579 Monthly – Marion County is seeking an Economic Development Coordinator.   The Marion County Economic Development Coordinator is an exempt full time position that provides professional level management support to the county's Economic Development Program.  General responsibilities include coordinating and implementing projects and programs that support local development, business attraction, business retention, development of public infrastructure, small business development initiatives; leads the economic development team; assists with the development and maintenance of public access to digital information; serves as county representative at meetings; provides professional reports and documents; and participates on or leads other economic development programs and projects.  The incumbent serves as the lead for the county's economic development strategic plan, its implementation and execution of key strategies that encourages growth and increased employment opportunities.  This position works under the general supervision on the Community Services Director who assigns work, establishes goals, and reviews results.  This position does not supervise other employees.
