Director of Community Development - $94,512 - $120,624 Annually– The City of Forest Grove is currently seeking qualified applicants for a full-time Director of Community Development.  The Director of Community Development will be responsible for overseeing the activities and operations of the City of Forest Grove’s Community Development Department, including planning and building inspection programs. Forest Grove has a population of 23,375, is located 23 miles west of Portland and offers the advantages of small city living, as well as being only 45 minutes from downtown Portland and 60 minutes from both the Cascade mountain range and the Pacific coast.  The ideal Candidate will have the equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in urban planning, public administration or a related field.
