Mountain Village is seeking a business-friendly minded individual with experience in planning, building, zoning, housing, and supervising. Working under general direction from the town manager, this individual plans, organizes and directs the activities and staff of the Department of Planning & Development Services including Capital Projects, Planning, Zoning, Design Review Board, Permits & Building Inspection/ Code Enforcement, Long Range Planning/ Village Court Apartments and affordable housing to meet Town goals and objectives. Serves as the housing director. Bachelor's Degree in Urban Planning, Engineering or related field AND demonstrates experience in planning, building and zoning, housing, and supervisory/management experience; Engineering experience is beneficial. Membership in the American Institute of Certified Planners is desired. Valid driver’s license and pre-employment drug testing required.
