Description    

This position will lead the City's efforts at revitalization of downtown and support the revitalization of adjacent neighborhoods and commercial corridors. The position will be responsible for serving as the liaison between the City and various partners engaged in downtown revitalization. This involves coordinating events, establishing and managing relationships, explaining guidelines and requirements. Develops, maintains, and implements the City's downtown revitalization policies and supporting the Boards and Commissions involved in the same.

A Bachelor's Degree in Urban Planning, Economic Development, Public Administration or similar including seven (7) years of increasingly responsible experience in urban redevelopment or economic development or a Master's Degree in Urban Planning, Economic Development, Public Administration, or similar and five (5) years of increasingly responsible experience in urban redevelopment or economic development is required. A AICP, CEcD, PCED, or similar certification or the ability to secure within one year of employment is preferred. Must have a valid Texas drivers license.

Salary:$71,393 t0 $82.101 year Benefits: TMRS, Health, Dental, Life Insurance. Annual and sick leave. Paid Holidays
